If you haven't signed up for riding lessons or winter camp yet, please do so - there are still spots available! Go to the documents section and print out a riding agreement form for lessons or a camp application. We still have openings, but the spots are going fast! Please call Michelle if you have any questions - email is not a good way to get in touch, as we are outside all day.
AFTER SCHOOL LESSON INFORMATION
We hold lessons year-round in our indoor arena. You must call ahead to place you or your child in a time slot. We are offering private lessons at 3 and 4 PM, Tuesday to Friday, and group lessons at 5 and 6 PM, Tuesday to Friday. We will have many openings in both group and private lessons for new riders on Saturdays at 10, 12, 2, 4, & 6 o'clock. Sundays are either mini-camp days or trail riding days! Please bring a printed and signed riding agreement form, found in the documents section. Come dressed appropriately in long pants and sneakers, helmets will be provided free of charge and are absolutely required to mount a horse. Send a text for a faster response. Let me know which days and times are good for you. Please understand that we are not a hack stable, this means we cannot accommodate same day requests. Lesson times should be reserved at least a week in advance.
Thank you in advance for your patience.
At the end of June and all of July, Heather and most of the school horses head off to the Adirondacks in beautiful upstate New York to do a "workcation" at a lovely camp called Raquette Lake. Half-hour and hour private lessons may still be scheduled Monday through Saturday with Kendra and mini-camp will be held on Saturdays with Nick and Kendra. Group lessons and 4 weeks of day camp will begin on August 8. Heather will not be available by cell phone but you may reach her on the Raquette Lake Stables phone: 315-354-4039.

|For the recreational rider, there are field trips to the Bucks County Horse Park, a gorgeous facility located in Revere, Pa, with 123 acres. The Park is a safe and peaceful place with excellent facilities. There are two large show rings with practice show jumps, two dressage rings, one has a rubber surface. In addition there are numerous cross country jumps over various terrains which include banks, ditches and water jumps. There are starter through training level courses and many smaller jumps to school. The Park also has two full size polocrosse fields and a grass jumping area. The trail system covers over 25 miles of trails and has recently been refurbished to include all weather trail and driving usage. The cost for schooling or trail riding is usually $35 for the day.|
Horse camping (boarders and leasers only) is also a really fun way to spend a weekend. This year, we are planning overnight trips to French Creek State Park, which has 7,339 acres, two lakes, and 200 camp sites. The Horse-Shoe Trail touches highlights of the park including Hopewell Lake and Scotts Run Lake. The Horse-shoe Trail runs 130 miles from Valley Forge to the Appalachian Trail near Harrisburg. We also plan to visit Green Lane Park, with 3400 acres, special equestrian campsites, and beautiful trails, and will also make a day trip to Nockamixon State Park, which has 5,283 acres and 20 miles of horse trails.
